Don't Fight Hunger With Willpower

Weight gain rarely happens for just one reason. Cravings, stress, poor sleep, meal timing, digestion, and repeated habits can all change how and when you eat. At Core, we look at the pattern behind your weight gain — not just the number on the scale. You won't be asked to starve or suddenly start an intense exercise program. Instead, we help you eat enough, reduce unnecessary cravings, and build habits that fit your real life.

Core Metabolic Reset

First Visit · 50 min — Metabolic Pattern Assessment + AcupunctureWe review your weight history, eating rhythm, cravings, sleep, stress, digestion, and the situations where your habits are most likely to break down.

Weekly Visits · 25 min — Habit Check-In + Acupuncture SupportWe identify what worked, what became difficult, and which small adjustment will make the next week easier. Acupuncture may support stress regulation, sleep, digestive comfort, and recovery.

Daily · 3 min — Food Log + Weight CheckBriefly record what you eat and check your weight. You don't need to count every calorie — the goal is to identify patterns, not create a perfect record.

Eat Enough. Lose Smarter.

1. Understand Why Your Weight Increased

We look beyond overeating alone. Your pattern may involve skipping meals and overeating later, late-night cravings, stress or emotional eating, poor sleep, digestive discomfort, or habits that repeat even when you're not physically hungry. Understanding the pattern helps us choose a change that addresses the reason — not just the result.

2. Build an Eating Rhythm That Prevents Constant Hunger

Eating as little as possible often makes a diet harder to maintain. We help you build satisfying meals and place enough food earlier in the day so that hunger and cravings are easier to manage later. The goal is to eat enough while still creating a structure that supports gradual weight loss.

3. Build Small Habits You Can Repeat

You don't need to change everything at once. Each week, we choose one or two practical habits based on what's actually happening in your life. As those habits become easier, we build the next step. Lasting progress comes from a pattern you can repeat — not a short period of perfect willpower.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the Core Metabolic Reset?

An individualized weight-management program focused on the pattern behind your weight gain. We assess your eating rhythm, cravings, sleep, stress, digestion, and repeated habits — then build a practical plan around the areas most relevant to you. Each visit includes a focused habit review and acupuncture support when appropriate. The goal isn't simply to make the scale move. It's to build an eating pattern that makes continued weight management easier.

2. How is this different from a regular diet program?

Most diets start with restriction — eat less, exercise more, try harder. We start by asking different questions: when are you most hungry, are you eating enough earlier in the day, what happens when you're tired or stressed, and why does the same pattern keep returning? We identify the pattern, choose one practical change, and gradually build habits your body and lifestyle can maintain.

3. Do I need to exercise to lose weight?

Not necessarily — especially at the beginning. Eating habits have a much greater direct effect on weight loss than exercise alone; a practical way to think about it is roughly 80% eating habits and 20% exercise. If you already exercise comfortably, you don't need to stop. Movement can be added gradually to support health, mood, and long-term weight maintenance once your eating rhythm is stable.

4. Do I have to eat very little?

No. Eating too little tends to increase fatigue, cravings, and late-night overeating — and makes any plan hard to maintain. We help you improve meal timing, build more satisfying meals, and reduce the situations that repeatedly lead to overeating. The goal is smarter structure, not constant hunger.

5. What do I need to do every day?

About three minutes. Record what you eat and check your weight. You don't need to count every calorie or measure every portion — the log helps us see connections between meal timing, hunger, cravings, sleep, and your weight trend. Consistency gives us useful information. Perfection doesn't.

6. What happens during each visit?

Each visit starts with a focused review of food and meal timing, hunger and cravings, sleep and stress, digestion, and your weight trend — looking at what worked and what became difficult. We then identify the most useful adjustment for the coming week, followed by acupuncture support when appropriate. It's not just a weigh-in. It's a weekly reset.

7. How long should I continue?

It depends on your starting pattern, goal, and progress. Some patients need only a short period of structured support; others continue longer to build momentum or maintain progress. You don't need to commit to a fixed package before you know whether the approach fits you.

8. Can I use insurance?

Acupuncture visits may be eligible for coverage through your extended health plan. Coverage limits and direct-billing availability depend on your provider and individual benefits. Please check your plan for acupuncture coverage before starting.
